  • Carolina Reds 14u We are looking for a pitcher to fill a

  • The Palmetto Longhorns, a newly-formed 13 and
    under USSSA baseball team in Columbia , SC will be
    holding tryouts to fill a limited number of positions that are
    available. We are seeking well-rounded players to
    participate in practice and tournaments beginning in May
    of 2009 immediately following the end of the high-school/”
    C” team baseball season. Plans are to quickly begin
    practice and tournament participation for the remainder of
    the summer and the fall season (14U). Tryouts will be held
    at Blythewood High School on Sunday, April 5 2008 at 3:
    00 pm. There will not be any participation fee for the
    tryout. The Longhorn coaching staff members are
    experienced USSSA coaches with successful records.
    This includes experience with coaching numbers of
    players who have progressed to be successful at the high-
    school level. The primary goal of our program is to
    continue to develop the student-athletes for successful
    participation in high-school baseball programs.  Please

  • Vipers Baseball – 13U Team (located in the Columbia
    area) is looking for several players to fill our spring roster.  
    We would like players that can play multiple positions and
    provide starting/relief pitching as needed.  We may
    consider part-time players depending on the situation.  
    We will also consider younger kids that are interested in
    playing up.  As a new team in the Fall we finished #5 in
    the state.  We won 1 qualifier and 1 NIT Tournament in the
    fall and were very competitive in our other tournaments.  
    This was accomplished due to a great group of kids and
    parents.  We practice on the North side of Columbia close
    to I-20 and Hwy 21.  Team workouts have started and we
    plan to add players for the next 2 months in order to get
    ready for tournaments starting in May and going through
    July.  After a short break we will take this team into the Fall
    and play 6 to 7 tournaments.  If you are interested please

  • The Columbia Yankees USSSA 13 & Under Baseball
    Team, Columbia , South Carolina , is in the process of
    recruiting players for all positions.  The Yankees plan to
    have tryouts for all positions at the beginning or middle of
    May 2009 - post high school baseball/"C" baseball
    season. Baseball players whom "pitch" and play 1 or 2
    other positions effectively preferred, but not mandatory.

    personal experience of working with/receiving guidance
    from Major League baseball players, past (Don
    Newcombe, Jim Bouton, etc.) and present (Preston
